At OTSUKATSU, we believe good design can make a good life. We believe that making the best products and provide the best customer service are the only way.

 

Our story

We are two people in this adventure, Thibaut and Gregory. We went to Japan for the first time together in 2013 and could not stop since then. :)

Our love for Japan did not start there, though. We have grown up in France in the 80's and 90's when video games, anime and manga became really popular so it has fed our entire childhood. We have been diving into the Japanese culture and even more since we met each other 12 years ago.

We want to share with you everything we love about Japan and what has inspired us from our journeys with our special and exclusive design. We have started this website at the end of 2021 so it is brand new and maybe a bit empty but we are working hard to bring you more design and products. We hope you will love them!

 

Our product

We are working both of us on the ideas and designs, Gregory is the one that can makes it real and Thibaut is the one that makes it available to you.

Our stickers and t-shirts (organic cotton) are shipped from Latvia.

Our posters are printed and shipped close to you thanks to our partnership with print facilities in over 30 countries (detailed in our product information). It is a more eco friendly approach than shipping everything from France, it can also reduce shipping time and issues, avoid import duties and taxes. 

Our products are exclusively designed and created by us and for you.

 

Our values

We want to be as environment friendly as possible and true to our core value, always doing something meaningful and not for the money.

We will try to be fair in our prices and offers, therefore you will never see big sales nor big Black Friday promotion. We might have promotion code for your first order or in special occasions but it won't be often.

We won't use your data to make you buy more stuff or else (we do not use Google, Facebook or any other analytic tools except from the one provided by our platform Shopify). 

We are creating designs and we do not change the world, we only hope we could have a positive impact somehow on you through our ideas.

We would like to do more positive actions in the future (have better product sourcing, more eco friendly impact through our entire process, share a part of our revenue with NGO...).
