From nature to plate is our first theme about the food in Japan. Food is one of the most important thing in the world, right ? Well, at least for us, it is! We want to show you the original form of a food to it's final state in our plate (it can sometimes be surprising).

The Series #1 is composed of the three posters : Wasabi is the first poster of this series, representing famous wasabi. The Wheat is the second food, common from all of us and the last one is the Fugu fish, also famous for its poison...

Wasabi - Fun Facts

The wasabi (わさび) is really good to use in a takoyaki party ! Add some wasabi in a few takoyaki (discreetly) and then watch your friends eating them until the lucky ones become all red and sweaty (it might be you too...) !

It is a plant of the same family as horseradish, watercress or mustard and as you could guess, it is known for its spicy taste. It is most often used as a paste made from its ground rhizomes and used as a pungent condiment for sushi (hiden between the rice and the aliment) and other foods.

Poster Information

The poster is a premium museum-quality matte paper (200 gsm / 80 lb, uncoated).

[Coming Soon] The framed poster is a lightweight 1-2 cm (0.4-0.8") thick frame, with shatterproof and transparent plexiglass, it includes hanging kit for both portrait and landscape orientations (for indoor use). The frame and poster are delivered together, the poster needs to be mounted by the customer (the plexiglass is protected by a thin film on both side to protect it and must be remove just before setting up the poster).

The foam print is a rigid and amazingly lightweight material with black sides, it is easy to stick on and take off the wall (the mounting kit is included)

The three dimensions (30x40, 50x70, 70x100) have their unique ratio and the design has been specially adapted for each of them. You can see their design while selection them individually.

It is printed and shipped usually within 2 to 5 business days after the order is confirmed.
