Scale it is our second theme and is about comparing size, sometimes with an artistic way and sometimes with a basic and practical way.

The Series #1 is composed of the three posters : Mountains of Japan is the first poster of this series, representing the nature and the wilderness in Japan. Towers of Japan is representing the urbanisation side of Japan. Gojira Era is representing something more particular closing the gap of the other two and bringing a bit of chaos...

Mountains of Japan - Fun Facts

Everyone knows the mount Fuji (called Fujisan) but Japan as many other beautiful mountains and volcanos.

Do you know that Fujisan along with Hakusan and Tateyama are called the Three Holy Mountains ? It is believe each of these mountains have particular powers, Fujisan has the volcanic power, Hakusan has the power of water and Tateyama has the power of the spirits of the dead.

Some of the mountains on this poster have not as much power as the Three Holy Mountains but they have a special place in our heart. We went on the Omuro-yama on our first trip in Japan, another time our hosts in Nagano drove us to Kurohime-yama with flowering fields at its foot and one of us went climbing the Kurodake under heavy rain and got completely soaked but was really happy about it! :)

Poster Information

The poster is a premium museum-quality matte paper (200 gsm / 80 lb, uncoated).

[Coming Soon] The framed poster is a lightweight 1-2 cm (0.4-0.8") thick frame, with shatterproof and transparent plexiglass, it includes hanging kit for both portrait and landscape orientations (for indoor use). The frame and poster are delivered together, the poster needs to be mounted by the customer (the plexiglass is protected by a thin film on both side to protect it and must be remove just before setting up the poster).

The foam print is a rigid and amazingly lightweight material with black sides, it is easy to stick on and take off the wall (the mounting kit is included)

The three dimensions (30x40, 50x70, 70x100) have their unique ratio and the design has been specially adapted for each of them. You can see their design while selection them individually.

It is printed and shipped usually within 2 to 5 business days after the order is confirmed.
